Here’s a clue – our name Offstone dates back to the days when the more, um, ‘mature’ members of our team worked together in newspapers and ‘off stone’ was the moment at which an edition was finalised for printing. The term comes from the old days, when a slab of stone or metal on which the type was set was used to align the text.
So, our roots are in newspapers and magazines, and our heart is in communication, which is how we have grown to become what we are today – magazine publisher, PR supremo, brand marketing mover and shaper.
We’re recognised as one of the most versatile magazine publishers around, producing multiple in-house titles including Appetite, Cheers, Lakes and Cumbria Today, Northern Golfer and The Northumbrian, and magazines on behalf of clients including Close House, Lloyd BMW, North East England Chamber of Commerce, The Morgan Sports Car Club, and United Carlton.
Meanwhile, our PR, brand marketing and creative design teams innovate to communicate – spreading the word about our clients across multiple PR and marketing channels in print, online, socially and traditionally.
Build it, and they will not necessarily come. Communicate it, and they will hear.
