Having previously worked with North East-based Love Popcorn on their website redesign, we were asked to team up once again to develop new packaging for the brand’s popular Gourmet range of popcorn.
Along with redesigning the current packaging for established products, this also proved the ideal opportunity for Love Popcorn to launch new flavours – an exciting process for our team to be part of and a great challenge to visualise before the finished products were in our hands.
What we did
A core requirement of the project was each box having to work individually on the shelf, while customers need to also be able to identify a clear theme running through the whole range when they saw the complete set of flavours.
With this in mind, we created a paper chain effect on the side of each box, which when stood together not only connected, but created a heart-shaped design, recalling the Love Popcorn brand.
Having worked closely with the Love Popcorn team to approve the designs, we then produced finished artwork for print to exact specifications before working with print partners to ensure the visualised designs worked exactly as intended when the finished product hit the shelves.
