CH magazine has been published 10 times to-date – with the earliest editions covering Close House’s development from university-owned sports ground to a golf resort with an international reputation and the world’s number one golfer among its members. Today, we continue to work closely with the Close House team as the business matures. The 2022 edition included profiles with long-serving members and staff, as well as our regular catch up with attached professional Lee Westwood and special focusses on key areas of the business – from the PGA Academy and golf tuition, to the golf courses, accommodation, and clubhouse dining.

What we do
The magazine is a cornerstone of Close House’s marketing strategy, having been established as a must-read, quality product with a reputation for excellent writing, photography and design.
It is distributed at the club and locally, supporting key marketing aims of the business, including reputation management, driving membership inquiries and boosting non-golf business such as accommodation and dining.
We designed and pitched the initial concept for the magazine’s high-end look and content, and continue to produce all the editorial and photography while designing the magazine to fit within Close House’s brand guidelines.
We also ensure the magazine is printed to the highest specifications to fit the Close House brand, while our account executives ensure advertising within the publication fits Close House’s image and its customers.
