Project scope
We had the pleasure of building on our longstanding relationship with Graham Chambers and the Longhirst Hall Golf Course team as the business celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022.
This special publication included profiles with Graham, key staff and members of Longhirst while telling the story of the club’s fascinating journey from the largest manmade hole in Europe to a thriving business with one of the north of England’s largest golf memberships.
The 52-page publication features interviews with Newcastle United legend Shola Ameobi and goalkeeper Karl Darlow as well as football referee Michael Oliver and England cricket legend Steve Harmison – all of whom choose to spend time relaxing at Longhirst as members of the club.
We were honoured to be trusted to tell the Longhirst story, with Dean Bailey teaming up once again with photographer Kevin Gibson to put together the editorial content, while Gillian Corney worked with key partners to support the publication through carefully created advertising opportunities.

“Having built such a strong relationship with Offstone over many years through Northern Golfer magazine, marking our 25th birthday with a publication produced by the team we knew so well was a no-brainer. Dean, Kevin and Gillian brought a great enthusiasm to the project and delivered a magazine which tells our unique story through some fascinating interviews, course profiles, history and so much more. The print quality of the magazine is superb and exceeded all my expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result and look forward to many more years working together.”
